Although we put this site together ourselves (have you seen the cost of web design? We'd rather not pass that on to our customers, thanks) we really can't take the credit for all the clever technical stuff. So this is a section of our home on the web, set aside to say a heartfelt thank you to the people whose talents helped make this site.
Every good web site needs a good home - and we found one of the best. The wonderful people at Net Focus have provided us with web hosting & management, domain registration and e-mail services. Without that help we would have nowhere for our site to live. The really clever stuff that Net Focus do involves developing Information Management & e-commerce systems for small businesses, Local Authorities and multinational companies.
Developing a layout for the site proved to be a bit of a nightmare. We had an idea what we wanted, but actually acheiving that was going to take a lot more than our basic technical skills could cope with. So we started searching around the web for a suitable template - a ready-made site we could tweak and mess with and generally adapt to our needs.
Jonas Jon, a web designer from Germany, came to our rescue.
Jonas desgins web templates as a hobby - he's a professional web developer but is happy to share his experimental designs with anyone who cares to pick them up. Jonas' Flowertree design was used as a template for this site, and after some careful tweaking gave us exaclty what we wanted. So - we owe Jonas a huge thank you for making his designs available.
